Taring participated in approximately 18 tournaments, receiving direct invitations to two. Their first tournament was BTS Southeast Asia #3 in February 2016, and their final appearances included ProDotA Cup SEA #2, joinDOTA League Season 10, and MSI Battle of Pride 2016, none of which resulted in a top-three placement. Beyond their second-place finish and one third-place finish, their tournament history is marked by a significant number of non-placing results. Their performance was inconsistent, with a longest losing streak of six matches.
Team Taring boasted a relatively stable roster of around 11 players throughout its existence. Early members included YamateH, ling, Ice, 343, and Ben, while later players like jny, Roddgeee, Nj, Syeonix, Minerva, and Hebe` also contributed. Currently, the team has no official roster.
Despite their competitive activity, Team Taring did not achieve any significant rankings in the global or regional Dota 2 leaderboards during their active period. Considering the approximately 1079 professional and semi-professional teams active in Dota 2 during that year, their lack of high placements is understandable, reflecting the highly competitive landscape of professional Dota 2.
