Their tournament history is a mix of successes and near misses. While they secured notable placements at Svoi Code 2024 and the Russian Esports Cup 2024 (3rd place, ~$1700 prize money), they also participated in larger events like the DreamLeague Season 24 and ESL One Birmingham 2024 without reaching the prize stages. They also competed in the Illuminational Dota 2 Major, finishing in 6th place and earning $100 in prize money. Their first tournament was the RCS eSports Open in September 2022.
Papaya has seen a revolving door of players throughout its existence, with around 12 players having donned the team's colors. While a stable core existed early on, with players like ssnovv1, the current roster is officially unannounced. Notable players from the past include mangekyou, zalkoe podobie velikogo B, and Serenada.
In terms of ranking, Papaya has fluctuated in the CIS regional rankings, reaching as high as 15th place and as low as 23rd. They were last ranked 22nd on February 5th, 2025, but are currently unranked. They have yet to make an appearance in the global Dota 2 rankings.
