NMSS has participated in four tournaments since its inception, receiving direct invitations to two of them, showcasing their early recognition within the competitive scene. While they haven't yet broken through to the top tiers of major competitions, their consistent participation demonstrates a commitment to building experience and refining their strategies. Their focus seems to be on steady progress and consistent performance rather than chasing immediate, high-profile victories.
The team's roster has seen some changes since its formation, with a total of eight players having represented NMSS throughout its history. The current lineup features a core of experienced players alongside some newer additions. The current starting five consists of Raven (Marc Polo Luis Fausto), Akashi (Eljohn Canonigo Andales), Erice (James Erice Guerra), Mac (Mc Nicholson Villanueva), and Jing (John Rey Y. Duyan), all hailing from the Philippines. This blend of experience and fresh talent makes for an intriguing dynamic within the team.
Since June 2020, Team Nemesis has consistently been ranked within the top 50 teams in the Dota 2 competitive landscape. While their highest ranking is 47th (as of May 14th, 2025), and they've hovered around the 47-49th spot recently, their consistent presence in the upper echelons of the ranking demonstrates their sustained competitiveness within the highly competitive SEA & Oceania region. Their steady climb and consistent performance indicate a team with a bright future.
