DEC's tournament history is marked by a mix of direct invites and participation. They received direct invitations to about 6 tournaments, skipping the qualifiers. Their journey includes participation in prestigious events such as the ESL One Bangkok 2024 and the European Pro League, with their best performance being a first-place victory at CCT Series 4, earning them a substantial prize pool (approximately $30,000). While they haven't placed in every tournament, their recent performances, including a 3rd place finish in EPL S21 and a 5th place finish in EPL S22, show continued progress. DEC has seen a revolving door of players throughout its history, with over 20 players having donned the team's colors. Notable past members include Lowskill, Infernal, PLEB, Panda, Mary_y, and several others, each contributing to the team's development and experience. This roster fluctuation reflects the challenges faced by many teams in maintaining a consistent, high-performing lineup in the competitive Dota 2 landscape.
In terms of ranking, DEC hasn't yet made a mark on the global Dota 2 leaderboard. However, in the European regional rankings, they've achieved significant success, reaching the top spot on several occasions (October 30th, 2024 being the most notable). While their ranking has fluctuated (reaching as low as 13th place), their best ever ranking was 1st place (October 23rd, 2024) showing periods of strong performance. As of December 25th, 2024, they were ranked 3rd in the regional rankings, but are currently unranked.
