FlyDog's professional career began in April 2019 with Pango Gaming, participating in the ESL Vietnam Championship Season 1. He then joined IM (Immortal) for ESL Vietnam Championship Season 2. These early experiences laid the foundation for his future success, introducing him to the competitive landscape and allowing him to hone his skills alongside teammates like Chowisgood, KiemThanh, Yahallo, and Wayto in his first tournament. His early performances, although not always resulting in top finishes, were crucial in shaping his understanding of professional Dota 2.
Throughout his career, FlyDog has represented seven different teams, including 496 Gaming, Pango, IM, OMC (Old Man Club), AE (Anonymous Esports), FIRE Esport, and his current team DRW. This experience across various teams has exposed him to different playstyles and strategies, enhancing his adaptability and overall game sense. His time with AE, in particular, proved highly successful, culminating in that first-place victory at GDSL S3. This showcases his ability to thrive in diverse team environments and contribute significantly to team wins.
Over his career, FlyDog has competed in approximately seven tournaments. His accolades include a first-place finish, a second-place finish, and a third-place finish. Recent tournaments he's participated in include the Lightning Series (2nd place with DRW), Save the Green, Beyond The Summit DPC Southeast Asia Tour 3 (no placement), GamersDeck Spring League Season 3 Maius (1st place with AE), and the SEA Dota Invitational 2020 (3rd place with OMC). His consistent participation and varied results highlight his dedication to the competitive scene and his ongoing development as a player.
