Desperate's professional career began in May 2019 with YeS (Yellow Submarine), participating in the EPICENTER Major Open Qualifiers. Although this initial experience didn't result in a prize, it marked the start of his journey. His early career involved several teams, primarily within the Russian Dota 2 scene, including a stint with Amazed in the The International 2019 Open Qualifiers. These early experiences provided a foundation for his later successes. His time in these early teams helped him develop his skills and understanding of the competitive Dota 2 environment.
Throughout his career, Desperate has played for approximately 18 different teams, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to collaborate with various players and team styles. His most successful period was with PuckChamp (PC), where he earned a significant portion of his prize money and achieved his highest placement, a 5th place finish at ESL One DPC League 2021 CIS Season 2. This experience showcased his ability to perform at a high level against internationally competitive teams. Other notable teams he's represented include EmpireH, NOVA, and EZ KATKA Esports.
In his roughly 48 tournament appearances, Desperate has consistently shown up in various qualifiers and main events. While he hasn't reached the pinnacle of Dota 2, The International, his consistent participation and performance demonstrate his commitment to the game. His recent tournament history includes participation in DreamLeague Season 24 and The International 2024, though without achieving a podium finish in those particular events. His dedication and experience, however, make him a valuable asset to any team.
